Cole named to two more All-America first teams

Another day, two more All-America honors for Missouri State linebacker Dylan Cole.

The Rogersville native was named to the AFCA Football Championship Subdivision Coaches’ All-America team on Monday.

Cole was one of six Missouri Valley Football Conference standouts picked for the first team. Later Monday, Cole was picked for the Walter Camp FCS All-America Team.

The 6-foot-1, 240-pounder made The Associated Press FCS All-America first team last week.

Cole finished off his Missouri State career as the nation’s leading tackler, averaging 12.9 stops per game during the regular season. He had at least 13 tackles in nine different games, including 19 in the Bears’ victory over Southern Illinois.
