The News-Leader reached out to a handful of high school basketball coaches in the area with several questions to answer with anonymity.
Today's question: "Does MSHSAA need to adopt a shot clock? Why or why not?"
Here were some of our panel's responses.

WE NEED THE SHOT CLOCK! We can’t talk about “moving the game forward” and not have a shot clock. I don’t blame certain teams for playing a “slow system” but we aren’t teaching kids how to play basketball the right way when we do that. There should never be 30 possessions in a basketball game and there are teams in our area that have accomplished this.
