The Missouri Valley Conference announced it has reprimanded Missouri State head women's basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton for public remarks she made about league officiating following the Lady Bears' win over Bradley.
“We encourage all coaches and athletics administrators to utilize proper channels when commenting on any officiating matters,” MVC commissioner Doug Elgin said in a release. “The comments that Coach Agugua-Hamilton made in a public, post-game setting were both inappropriate and were a violation of Conference policy.”
Agugua-Hamilton apparently criticized officiating following the Lady Bears' 69-66 win at Bradley on Sunday afternoon during a postgame radio interview.
