After a few years of missing the cut at the Price Cutter Charity Championship at Highland Springs, Martin Trainer overcame a late push to win the tournament.
Trainer shot -25 over the weekend and sunk a two-foot putter for a one-stroke championship victory.
The University of Southern California grad birdied six times on the final day to help secure his championship.
Trainer needed a birdie to win the title but the 18th hole had been giving him fits all week.
'The tournament was on the line'
Henrik Norlander was also making a late push while taking advantage of Trainer's bogies on Hole 12 and Hole 14.
