Missouri State (12-6, 3-2) topped Evansville (10-8, 1-4) 55-51 to put an end to their first two game skid of the season.
The Bears shot only 33 percent from the field and 53 percent from the free throw line, so you’d expect Bears head coach Paul Lusk to come out angry like he did earlier in the season after an ugly win, right?
Guess again.
“We shot 33 percent from the field and 53 from the line,” Lusk said as he opened up his postgame conference. “And I was so pleased with our effort, our defensive intensity, our rebounding, our takeaways and the way we took care of the ball.
