This year, old tires, some cattle feeding rings and a lot of plastic await "treasure"-seeking volunteers.

"And we always find old tents, unfortunately probably from the homeless population that camp out on the creeks and rivers," said Brent Stock, project manager at James River Basin Partnership. "The tents get washed into the river when it floods."
