The son of a Lady Bear great earned an offer from Missouri State on Saturday evening.
Four-star recruit Chauncey Wiggins tweeted Saturday night that after a conversation with Dana Ford and his staff, he's received an offer from his mom's alma mater.
Wiggins is the son of Lady Bear great LaWaynta Dawson Wiggins — who was inducted into the Missouri State University Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. She played for the Lady Bears from 1989-91 and was a key player on the first Lady Bears' postseason team at center. She was named the MSU basketball Player of the Decade (1982-92) for the first 10 MSU seasons at Division I.
