Bobby Petrino will apparently take a major pay cut from previous jobs to become the next head coach of the Missouri State Bears.
The university announced on Wednesday that Petrino will be introduced at a press conference on Thursday morning.
Yahoo! Sports national college football reporter Pete Thamel tweeted on Wednesday morning that Petrino will make $250,000 annually over a five-year contract.
Multiple reports have backed up Thamel's tweet.
Petrino will reportedly make less money annually than Dave Steckel before he and MSU parted ways. Steckel made $270,000 annually.
The reported figure is a major pay cut from what Petrino made over multiple stops throughout his career.
