Bears win fourth straight with 1-0 victory over UE

Missouri State men’s soccer clinched a 1-0 victory against the University of Evansville in the first home conference match of the season.

The first half of the match got off to a slow start. UE kicked off the offense with a shot on goal in the second minute from junior Caleb Williams.

Following suit, junior Harry Lewis attacked the goal for MSU in the 12th minute, but the ball was placed just a tad high and ricocheted off the goal post.

Both teams played physical from the beginning of the game, as MSU racked up three fouls while UE had four.
