Missouri State’s home-game win streak ended with an ugly 82-66 loss to Valparaiso.
“Our mind was not right,” head coach Dana Ford said on KTXR with Art Hains after the game. “As a collective unit and individuals, we did not do what we were supposed to do from the very tip.”
A rocky first half for the Bears ended with the MSU trailing 46-24.
In the first four and a half minutes, MSU forced three-straight turnovers with only one for themselves. The Bears turned the ball over four times in two minutes while the Crusaders managed nine points off turnovers in the first half.
