After trying to keep his team positive and moving in the right direction through a 1-5 start to the season, Missouri State coach Paul Lusk is going in the other direction this week.
A victory over a Power 5 Conference team will do that. It’s what the Bears accomplished with a 64-63 victory at Oklahoma State of the Big 12 Conference on Saturday.
The program has a definite different outlook, with much more of a gap than between 1-5 and 2-5.
Lusk didn’t hesitate to put a damper on the big talk on Wednesday, as Missouri State prepares to host IUPUI (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis) on Thursday night at JQH Arena.
