Bears head coach Dana Ford said having Isiaih Mosley in his lineup is like holding a lottery ticket in your pocket – the winning lottery ticket.
The Bears sophomore scratched off a career-best 29 points – 23 in the second half – to carry Missouri State past Indiana State, 70-66, on Sunday afternoon at JQH Arena. Mosley is the first Bear since Johnny Murdock in 1995 to score 20 points in five straight games.
Less than 24 hours removed from scoring 50 points in the first half and bullying the Sycamores for 44 points in the paint en route to a 84-74 win on Saturday, Missouri State (6-1, 3-1 MVC) needed every one of Mosley’s lucky numbers.
