The junior forward led the Bears to a 79-71 win over Southeast Missouri State. Johnson led the team with 18 points and 13 rebounds for his third double-double of the season.
Saturday at Air Force, Johnson got in early foul trouble which restricted him to only playing one minute in the opening half.
Johnson dominated the Redhawks down low, bringing in a career-high 13 rebounds. Johnson, again, had to step up in the absence of junior forward Obediah Church (knee).
The Bears led the Redhawks from the opening bucket of the game to the final buzzer of the game, as the Bears didn’t trail for a second, coming off a disappointing loss to Air Force.
