A slow start kept the Bears in limbo for the nearly all 40 minutes of their contest against Illinois State, as the Bears dropped their fourth straight game, 76-60. The Bears, scoring only six points in the first ten minutes, struggled to shoot the ball yet again. Head coach Paul Lusk mentioned the Bears inability to score on the perimeter Monday and a day later those works showed yet again. The abysmal performance, one of the Bears worst shooting performances this season, led to a measly 21 points heading into the half. Senior forward Jarrid Rhodes was the first to find the bottom of the bucket on a mid-range jumper that accounted for only one of three baskets in the first ten minutes for the Bears.
