The No. 1 team in the Missouri Valley Football Conference traveled to Plaster Stadium on Saturday, and they demolished the Bears football team 48-7.
North Dakota State is ranked first in not only the MVFC but the Football Championship Subdivision with a 10-0 overall record.
The Bears offense couldn’t get anything going against an extremely physical Bison football team. In the first quarter alone, the Bears had 9 passing yards and no rushing yards off four plays. The Bison converted 100 percent of their third downs in the first quarter, going 4-for-4.
The second quarter seemed to liven up for the Bears, especially for the defense.
