Missouri State cast its net far and wide for its 2016 football recruiting class, landing a 14-player haul on Wednesday’s signing day.
The class includes six offensive players, seven defensive players and one “athlete.”
There are four players from Missouri, three each from Oklahoma and Illinois, and one each from Texas, Arkansas, Nevada and Kansas.
“What we really believe as a coaching staff is that you begin, then you believe and then you become,” Bears coach Dave Steckel said at a Signing Day Party at Springfield Brewing Company. “When we put this class together, we found people who believe in this plan.
