Bears assistant Brad Korn leaving for Kansas State

The Missouri State men’s basketball team has an open spot on its bench.

That comes after confirmation that assistant coach Brad Korn is leaving for the same job at Kansas State.

Korn was the only assistant coach retained when the staff went through some major turnover before this season. That’s when assistants Matt Sligh and Corey Gipson joined the staff, replacing Jermaine Henderson and Derrick Tilmon, and Cody Seidel was promoted to director of basketball operations.

The move isn’t expected to become official until Tuesday, and it will reunite Korn with K-State head coach Bruce Weber and associate head coach Chris Lowery.
