Isaac Haney was on the bus on the way home to Dora when his phone started to ring.
The junior star just got done dropping 32 points in an Ozark Mountain Shootout win over one of the best teams in Oklahoma. To make it even more impressive, he was going up against Trey Alexander — the No. 27 player in the country according to 247Sports.
He picked up the phone and on the other end of the line was Missouri State head coach Dana Ford. He called to offer Haney a scholarship.
Teammates started to gather around Haney as he talked on the phone.
