ST. LOUIS — For the third year in a row, Missouri State's Arch Madness run ended a game short of the championship.
Drake ended Missouri State's stay in St. Louis with a 79-78 overtime heartbreaker on Saturday night at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. It's the second-straight year the Bulldogs prevented the Bears from playing in their first title game since 2011.
There remains a chance Missouri State's season is not over. While the Bears won't play in their first NCAA Tournament since 1999, they have been listed as a team that could play in a second-tier postseason tournament.
