ST. LOUIS — Dana Ford looked down his bench during the Bears' home game against Indiana State and needed a spark for his lineup.
He had already given nearly everyone else on the roster an opportunity, and his team wasn't playing very well. He wanted a player who would play hard and leave everything out on the floor.
It was Ross Owens' turn.
"We had gotten that far down the bench," Ford said. "In terms of what we were looking for, we're just looking for guys that are willing to empty the tank, and he is definitely that type of guy.
