Missouri State has the talent and is capable of winning Arch Madness and advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011 — but there are a few things that could hold the Bears back.
The Bears enter the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament as the No. 2 seed and will play the winner of Thursday's play-in game between Valparaiso and Evansville. The Bears begin MVC tourney play at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis.
There are a few lingering questions surrounding the Bears as they enter the tournament — whether it's their depth, defensive consistency or teams that have given them trouble in the past.
