After Friday night's thrilling buzzer-beater win over Drake, the Missouri State Lady Bears are the No. 1 team in the women's basketball RPI.
The RPI (rating percentage index) is used to rank teams based upon a team's wins and losses and its strength of schedule.
Missouri State (13-2, 3-0) was ranked No. 2 in previous weeks but its win over a solid opponent in Drake (9-5, 1-1) had it make the jump to No. 1.
The Lady Bears were ranked behind Oregon State — one of the two teams who has beaten the Lady Bears this season.
