College of the Ozarks athletics are headed back to the NAIA ranks.
Two years after the Point Lookout school ended its relationship for what appeared to be political differences with the association, the Bobcats are set to return this fall.
College of the Ozarks competed in the National Christian College Athletic Association the past two seasons. Its women's basketball team won an NCCAA national title last month.
The Bobcats previously spent decades as a member of the NAIA and hosted the men's basketball national tournament from 2000-2017, an annual event that brought millions into the Branson economy.
