On the Tuesday before a tournament, golf legend Gary Player pressed 400 pounds with his legs. He also did 1,300 crunches and sit-ups, and he ran on a treadmill at maximum speed.
Player is 80 years old.
He's known as golf's Black Knight, and today he fights a battle to encourage others to eat healthy and exercise. His secondary nickname on the PGA Champions Tour is "Mr. Fitness."
Player has been a touring professional golfer for more than 50 years and showed the wit and energy of a young man on the opening day of the 2016 Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge at Top of the Rock.
