When Missouri State opens the 2017 football season, it will be trying to end a 26-year postseason drought.
The Bears’ newest commit is ready to take on that challenge.
“I’m very eager to attack that,” said Peyton Huslig, a quarterback from Garden City Community College in Kansas. “I feel like it’s a good challenge.
“I feel like I’ve seen how much hard work it takes and what it takes from the coaching staff and the players and the community, to really turn a program around. I’m really excited about that.”
The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder also has a little bit of experience when it comes to turnaround seasons.
