Missouri State head football coach Dave Steckel spoke about his newest signing class Wednesday evening before the men's basketball team's win over Southern Illinois.
Steckel spoke at length about the team having to replace players who have left the team in addition to trying to get younger at different positions.
Missouri State football is coming off a 4-7 season, in which it started 4-2. The Bears haven't reached the postseason since 1990.

Steckel wouldn't expand much on whether the players in this class will make immediate contributions — as that is still up in the air.
