Bears head coach Dana Ford added his first Class of 2020 recruit when he received a verbal commitment from Ford Cooper on Wednesday.
Cooper is a four-star point guard from Charlotte (North Carolina) United Faith Christian Academy. He is listed by 247Sports as the No. 105 recruit in his class.
The verbal commitment of Cooper is an exciting one as Missouri State begins to build its future beyond this upcoming season.
Here are some initial thoughts following the news of Cooper's commitment:
1. Now we'll wait to see if Cooper makes it on campus
Getting a verbal commitment is one thing but now we'll wait to see if the guard will sign his NLI and make it to Springfield.
