Missouri running back Larry Rountree has found a new home on the West Coast.
The Raleigh, North Carolina, native was selected by the Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday with the No. 198 overall selection in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
Rountree finished his Missouri career as the school's all-time leading rusher among running backs with 3,720 yards and 40 touchdowns. Rountree is second on the Tigers' all-time list behind quarterback Brad Smith, who finished with 4,193 rushing yards.
“It's crazy because honestly, me coming to college, that (rushing yards record) was never a goal.
