First, Valparaiso lost to Indiana State — which set the stage for the Bears to get a win and avoid a play-in game at this week's Missouri Valley Conference Tournament.
The Bears beat the Salukis in blowout fashion on Saturday afternoon. Fast forward to Sunday morning and the basketball program has a new point guard committed to playing for them next season.
