National Signing Day and the few days leading up to it were quite a wild ride for Mississippi State football fans. The night before players could start faxing in their Letters of Intent, the Bulldogs found out Offensive Lineman Scott Lashley of West Point was signing with Alabama. It was the biggest blow to the class as the Bulldogs desperately needed help on the offensive line.
News out of Starkville High School was mixed for the Mississippi State football team. Kobe Jones, the four star defensive tackle, decided to stay in Starkville and play for the Bulldogs. The other highly sought after player for the Yellow Jackets, A.
