As Mississippi State has produced star after star at defensive tackle, Autry will have to meet high expectations.
Autry boasts a similar skillset to his older brother Denico, a former Bulldog and now NFL starting defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts. He will be replacing Jeffery Simmons, as Autry has big shoes to fill. Like Simmons and tackles prior, Autry will be relied on to anchor the Bulldogs’ front.
While Autry did not play much in 2018, the senior now has an opportunity to make his name. Having gained experience and receiving the proper mentorship, Autry is in prime position to lead this year’s group.
