SEC Player of the Week - Mississippi State's Tyson Carter
Carter, a 6-foot-4, 165-pound sophomore guard from Starkville, Miss., averaged 27.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in wins over North Dakota State and Dayton. Carter scored a career-high 35 points against North Dakota State before totaling 20 against Dayton with a key 3-pointer late in the game to break a 56-56 tie. In his two games, he drained 19 of his 29 shots and was 12-20 beyond the arc. In his last four games, he's now scored 83 points.
