The Mississippi State baseball team battled the hosting Florida State Seminoles incredibly well today. The Bulldogs took on Florida State with Ethan Small on the mound to start things off. Small kept MSU in the game, pitching well all afternoon.
Through 6.0 innings of work, Small only gave up a total of two runs to the Seminoles. Small was then replaced by Riley Self, who delivered 3.0 innings of scoreless baseball as well, keeping the Seminoles at bay and off the scoreboard.
But Mississippi State couldn’t get anything on the board. That is until the bottom of the 9th inning came around.
