The Bulldogs were buoyed by a strong effort from Dak Prescott
This past weekend, the Mississippi State Bulldogs triumphed in relatively easy fashion over the Kentucky Wildcats by a score of 42-16.
Dan Mullen's bunch accrued 586 yards of total offense in the victory. The offensive explosion was in large part due to quarterback Dak Prescott's brilliance. The senior signal-caller finished with six total touchdowns, including 348 yards passing and 117 yards rushing.
Unsurprisingly, Prescott was named as the National Offensive Player of the Week, as well as the SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
