The 2016 MLB Draft saw a school record 11 Mississippi State players and four more signees selected.
But those were not the only prospects to come off the board with ties to the Bulldogs. Former MSU players Delvin Zinn and Daniel Garner were also drafted as well.
Zinn, who signed last year and spent the fall with the Diamond Dogs, was redrafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 23rd round (704th overall) out of Itawamba Community College. The Cubs selected Zinn in the 28th round in 2015 but bypassed that opportunity to enroll at Mississippi State.
