Trouble continues to follow former Mississippi State defensive tackle Quay Evans.
The former five-star recruit from Morton was arrested in Oktibbeha County for the third time since he was dismissed from the football team in 2013.
Evans’ latest arrest stems from a shooting at Aspen Heights Apartment Complex in Starkville on Saturday night. According to a police report, a witness claimed the 6-foot-3, 310-pounder fired a gun into the air following a fight. A warrant was issued which led to his arrest on Tuesday by the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office.
His other two arrests were for traffic violations.
