Do you remember how back in the old days State used to really really upset it’s fanbase with how terrible the team always was?
Well this is one of the few names that shined brightly during those dark days.
Dixon was touted as a 4-Star recruit out of Terry High School and was named to the Clarion-Ledger’s “Dandy Dozen” (the 12 best players in the state of Mississippi). Despite offers from LSU and Alabama, he chose the Bulldogs and made his mark as one of the single greatest players to have ever worn a Bulldog uniform.
To this day, he still owns many school records for running backs.
