Three Mississippi State players were picked to the Rawlings South All-Region team by the American Baseball Coaches Association this week.
Junior pitcher Dakota Hudson and freshman outfielder Jake Mangum earned a spot on the first team while sophomore designated hitter Brent Rooker was selected to the second team.
It is the first time the Bulldogs have placed three players on the South All-Region team since the trio of Hunter Renfroe, Adam Frazier and Jonathan Holder in 2013. It was the most first team members for MSU since 1996 when Eric DuBose and Rob Hauswald were honored.
