From the first time quarterback Garrett Shrader stepped onto the field at Mississippi State earlier this year, MSU center Darryl Williams could tell something was special about Shrader.
“He commands the huddle,” Williams said of Shrader on Tuesday night after practice. “That’s what caught my eye from his first start and first plays at Mississippi State. He commands huddles and he commands how he runs things.”
Well the true freshman Shrader is now, officially, the full-time commander of the MSU offense.
