Sitting behind the desk is a man wearing a suit and tie. He’s making a living and doing the best he can. That man, right here and right now, could’ve been Mississippi State pitcher Cole Gordon. In fact, last June following MSU’s run to the College World Series, it was going to be Cole Gordon.
