Kevin Sumlin‘s offense is not foreign to the Mississippi State coaching staff.
The Bulldogs will be facing Sumlin’s spread attack for the sixth time in seven years traveling to No. 14 Texas A&M at 6:30 p.m. today on SEC Network.
MSU split a two-game series in 2009-10 while Sumlin was the head coach at Houston and is 1-2 since he started coaching the Aggies.
In the five previous meetings, Sumlin’s offense is averaging 542.4 yards and 35 points.
“They are an offense that prides itself on out-executing you with the plays they run,” said MSU defensive coordinator Manny Diaz.
