Stricklin updates plans for Dudy Noble Field

Mississippi State could break ground on its new baseball stadium by the end of next season.

In August 2014, Bulldogs’ director of athletics Scott Stricklin announced a $40 million renovation to Dudy Noble Field which was approved by the IHL board. That estimate has now increased to $55 million according to Stricklin’s weekly newsletter and will again need to be authorized by the IHL board before construction can commence.

Stricklin stated that a request will be made to the IHL board later this month.

Actual work on the stadium is tentatively slated to start in June 2017 once IHL approval has been attained and sufficient fundraising efforts have been made by the Bulldog Club.
