FAYETTEVILLE, Ark., – Mississippi State was held to four hits as it dropped a sixth straight game in Southeastern Conference baseball action.
Arkansas broke open a tight contest with three runs in the fourth inning on the way to a 6-1 win against MSU Saturday night at Baum Stadium.
With the win, Arkansas clinched its fifth straight conference series for the first time since 2004. The Razorbacks improved to 26-17 overall and 11-9 in league play, while the Bulldogs fell to 22-21 and 6-14.
“I thought they had a really big crowd tonight and I thought our kids didn’t handle the environment,” MSU head coach John Cohen said.
