Postseason baseball is returning to one of college baseball’s most storied venues.
Starkville and Dudy Noble Field were selected as one of 16 venues to host NCAA Regionals beginning on Friday. SEC Champion Mississippi State will learn if it is a national seed and which three teams will join it when the rest of the field is announced Monday at 11 a.m. on ESPNU.
“To be chosen to host amongst a great field of participants is a huge honor. It’s also a tremendous responsibility for our athletic department and its something I think we’ve done very well in the past,” said MSU coach John Cohen.
