There are some people who really enjoy smack talk. I don’t get into it, but I know lots who do. But when you have little to no chance of winning a game, it seems pretty silly to get all riled up.
Despite a 49-0 beatdown of Southern Miss just a year ago, Southern Miss fans have gotten really chippy on Twitter before Saturday’s game. While I know weird things can happen, and by some miraculous way, they could pull off the upset, it is far fetched to believe they’ll win.
Now I know some would bring up #WeBelieve, but that wasn’t intended to be smack talk.
