After a loss to Baylor Friday, the Bulldogs resumed their Saturday game today against Weber State. The game was originally pitched by sophomore Alexis Silkwood, and questions were started last night if Silkwood would continue to pitch that game. The Bulldogs coaching staff decided to keep her in, a decision that didn’t fail as the Bulldogs won their game against Weber State 2-0. That meant the Bulldogs would get a chance to take revenge against the Baylor Bears.
The game started off rough for Alexis Silkwood as she gave up a few walks and hits, and Baylor started off the game with a 1-0 lead.
