With just three weeks left in the regular season, the SEC is divided up pretty clearly. There’s a handful of elite teams, a few pretty good teams, a couple of average teams, and then there is everyone else.
Here’s how I am ranking the SEC after 8 weeks of play.
Bama is beat up after playing LSU. The Tigers were able to move the ball on the ground and simply missed big plays in the passing game. It won’t be easy, but Mississippi State can win this game. I’m not saying they will, but there is plenty of reason to suggest their chances are much better than they were about a month ago.
