BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-- Five baseball teams from the Southeastern Conference have advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals set to take place Friday through Monday. The SEC leads all conferences with its five representatives.
Florida, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M won their respective regionals to reach the Super Regionals. All five teams will play host to a best-of-three series with the winners advancing to the College World Series June 18-30 in Omaha, Neb.
Florida will play host to Florida State beginning Saturday, while LSU will take on Coastal Carolina in Baton Rouge. Arizona will travel to Mississippi State for three-game set beginning on Friday, and South Carolina will welcome Oklahoma State to Columbia on Saturday.
