Let’s start with Vandy in our SEC Football recap… They were impressive against a Nevada team that is probably a much better team than Middle Tennessee State. Vanderbilt handled them both with their defense allowing only 17 points between the first two weeks. The real tests for Vanderbilt will, of course, come against SEC competition, but even sooner when the Commodores travel to South Bend to play the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in Week 3. If Vandy pulls that one out, the nation will be talking a lot about the now 2-0 squad. If you’re a Vanderbilt fan, treasure the phrase ‘2-0’ for the next week!
