Reports indicate that another Mississippi State football player has gone down with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
The (Jackson) Clarion Ledger, citing unnamed sources, reported Thursday that MSU senior cornerback Will Redmond suffered the injury and will be out for the remainder of the season.
Redmond would be the third Bulldog to suffer a torn ACL this month. Safety Kendrick Market and linebacker Dez Harris have also gone down with the same ailment.
Mississippi State would not comment on Redmond’s status except to say the school would unveil any players that will be out prior to Saturday’s 6:30 p.
